This was when kids’ shows were good.
So we went 2-8 today at TIT, another disappointing day. The college circuit is completely different from the high school one: there aren’t any crappy teams to beat on and every team at college tournaments is at least competent, with the majority playing on the level of deities. It’s a far cry from expecting to win every game to expecting to lose every game, but so it goes.
Why do I continue to do it? Simply the love of the game. Nothing can beat that rush that I get from hearing a history tossup being read. Even if we lose every game, I’ll still have fun trying to compete.
Much work remains to be done, but fortunately it’s only freshman year.

Just wanted to wish happy birthday to my favorite director of all time, David Lynch. For those of you who haven’t seen Eraserhead yet, watch it, preferably with me. You’re gonna like the way it looks. I guarantee it.

That’s what I dreamt of last night. No wonder I woke up in a cold sweat.
Do you think that you’ll find your way
Little foolish wings tossed about in the wind of fate
Do you hope? Do you think you stand a chance
The wind is steering colder. The sea is growing bolder.
